Loved having access to a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for whipping up gourmet meals and impressing absolutely no one. The terrace was great for pretending to enjoy the outdoors while sipping tea and avoiding exercise. The towel provided was barely big enough to dry a hamster. Hilarious.

We were pleasantly surprised to find backpacks and walking poles available for our use, which came in handy for exploring the beautiful surroundings. The little touches, like the telescope in the wardrobe cupboard for stargazing and the hearts tastefully scattered throughout, added to the charm of the cottage. The comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep, and the fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals. We also appreciated the complimentary toiletries and the thoughtful card and bottle of wine. The location, just a short stroll from the town center, was perfect for exploring. We also loved that there was internet access and free parking. our stay at this adorable cottage was simply perfect and exceeded all expectations!

our recent stay in ambleside was amazing, but this time at valentine cottage was even better! the cottage had everything we needed and more - from a fully equipped kitchen to toiletries and hiking equipment. we loved the tasteful decorations, especially the little hearts everywhere. the location was ideal, just a short walk to the center of ambleside. perfect for a break in the lakes.
